This subreddit is about the NCLEX exam.My future mother in law is a nurse and did the pop up trick back in 2012 so she instantly knew when I did it 😭 I studied for roughly 6 weeks using Archer and videos on YouTube. I loved Simple Nursing and Level Up RN. I did watch NCLEX High Yield and NCLEX Crusade for their test strategies.When I got home around 1:30, I tried the PVT and got the message saying that I currently have an open registration and I cannot register for another NCLEX — indicating that I tried too early to do this trick. I tried again once I received the email at 4:30... and I got the good pop-up (our records indicate blah blah)!! NCLEX “Bad Pop-up”. QUESTION. Took the NCLEX exam today. Was extremely anxious throughout the entire day. Went the full 145 questions. Had some easy questions, then some hard questions, and then a mix of easy and hard questions towards the end…. By the time I got to my car, I received the email confirmation that I completed the exam. I just took my NCLEX for the second time and got the good pop-up!! I'm so excited! The first time I took my test I got all 265 questions and (obviously) failed. I let myself be upset for a couple of days but then got down to business. I did the 3 week NCSBN review then did a live Hurst Review 3 weeks before my test.There are numerous people on this site that have gotten bad pop-ups and passed, good pop-ups and failed, had their payment go through as if they failed and actually passed. The original (pre 2014) PVT may have been fairly accurate, but the current PVT (payment processing involved in the trick) is far less accurate. 1.If the website prompts a payment on your card and permits your registration, it may mean you failed the NCLEX. Remember, this “bad pop-up” is NOT your official result, and the Pearson VUE trick is not 100% accurate. The only source you can trust with certainty is the official results released by your state.
