I have an 12.5" 870 that is a registered SBS. I took it rabbit hunting a couple times. Configured with a pistol grip, it is smaller than a Shockwave. Fun. Managed to kill a few bunnies. That sounds to me like the best way to hunt with something like this. I've got two 14 inch barreled 12 gauges, an 18 inch 20 gauge, and a Judge.Crazy idea came to mind! What if I bought a 20 gauge moss shockwave. SBS tax stamp it. Have vang comp do the barrel treatment, except no porting because I don’t think that tightens the spread.
